You will work as a mechanic workshop within our Dakar Rally team. You will mainly be concerned with the construction, maintenance and repair work of the rally and service trucks, both in the workshop and at the rally locations (abroad).
The ideal candidate sees working on (rally) trucks as a calling. Being part of a leading rally team as a “dream come true”. A flexible attitude regarding working hours is important (evenings and weekends). You are able to work accurately and independently and do everything you can to fix a malfunction. In the run-up to a rally, you are prepared to work extra hours (evenings/weekends) to ensure that the rally and service trucks are in tiptop condition. During a rally you will function for several weeks under high pressure and under conditions that are far from ideal.
Do you have an technician education, are you excited to work for the dakar 2024 and do you speak English? then you are our ideal candidate!
